Camped under a baobab tree in Baobab Valley in Tanzania. Above the living-cell door you can see the fiamma awning. To the right the 2 white grills are for the Dometic fridge/freezer (necessary when in gas operation mode). The window on the left is the kitchen window, while the right-hand window is the bedroom window. Below the bedroom window you can make out the hatch for the exterior storage area.

Shot of the rear showing the fold-down ladder giving access to the roof-rack and the rear-mounted spare wheel with it's winch. On the roof-rack you can see the 3 metal trunks (blue) at the rear, and on the right hand side of the roof-rack are the sand-ladders. You can also see the other spare wheel mounted under the side of the truck and in front of it the spare fuel tank. The 2 windows are the bathroom (rear), and the lounge/dining area window. Beneath the bathroom window you can see the access hatch for the Thetford toilet and the after-market SOG ventilation system.

Bush-camped in the Chalbi Desert, northern Kenya, whislt on the remote Lake Turkana route into Ethiopia.

Another pic from the Chalbi Desert.

A dry river-bed crossing showing the roof of the truck. On the roof of the cab you can see our mascot Tyrone the Gnome, and the army forward-observation hatch (aka: machine-gun hatch, supply your own machine-gun!) On the roof of the box you can see the 2 solar panels (front right), and to the left of them the front skylight. Behind them you see the roof-rack. At the front right of the roof-rack is the jerrycan rack. Left of that we have our surfboards, and next to them the sandladders etc.

A shot from the front showing the winch at the front and the indomitable Tyrone the Gnome!
